Anastasia Bliznyuk as a coach

London 2012 Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics Anastasia Bliznyuk told the R-Sport agency that she trains the Russian second team in group routine. Anastasia finished her sport career in 2013. Although, there was no official announcement.

She has an experience of being a coach in Brazil. Last year Anastasia got to a hospital because of kidneys’ issues. « Now I’m training the Russian second team in group routine in Novogorsk. Honestly, I hadn’t thought of becoming a coach. I was thinking of getting an actress education but I tried myself as a couch and I really liked it. My mother always told me that being a coach was for me. I denied it but now I feel that mother was right».

The students of Anastasia Bliznyuk haven’t performed yet. « We’ll see. I don’t know when our first performance is. We’ll do as Irina Viner says. For now I adore my new job. That is really what I like. I feel that I’m in the right place. I feel very good. I want to thank Irina Aleksandrovna and Alisher Burhanovich Usmanov» - Anastasia added.

«All our coaches are very experienced, they help. Irina Aleksandrovna is undoubtedly the main person that we have. She is an idol for me that saved my life and presented me the victory. She is the second mother for me. I value each moment when I see her, when I come to the sport hall where she works».- Anastasia noted.

Recently Anastasia has visited the Grand-Prix in Moscow. «Girls and I train in one hall. They prepared the program of a new level. That is really something extraordinary. Each our gymnast is very beautiful».- Bliznyuk said.
